  • Optical communication

    Have you heard of “optical communication?” Why does it have to be optical? Because light has high frequency(oscillation per second) and can transmit a lot of information.

  • Fiber optics

    Fiber optics uses a property of light called “total internal reflection” which enables the transmission of massive data at a high speed. It has a three-layered structure comprised of core, cladding, and coating.

  • Total internal reflection

    When light goes from a medium such as water, glass or plastic to the atmosphere, all the light will be reflected if it strikes the medium boundary at a large angle of incidence.
